I love listening to EVP's. I feel like they are the purest form of paranormal recordings. It is interesting because my childhood house was also very old (the deed for the property was handwritten and it was signed some time before the Revolutionary war) and we would hear voices all the time. Unfortunately, my family never recorded anything. However, it was investigated by a paranormal team years after we moved out. Apparently they too heard the voices. I tired to get the link from the team's website with all the findings from the investigation. Unfortunately the "page cannot be found". (it was a long time ago so that is probably why). But I really do love listening to EVPs and what the spirits have to say.
I have always been very interested in paranormal activity. I am a firm believer in spirits. I have grown up in a historic town that was involved with the Revolutionary war. My church housed George Washington, and at one point my church was burned down during the war. It was rebuilt but there was a legend that the pastor who was wanted by England passed away but to hide his death, they buried him under the church as they rebuilt it. In the 1970's my church decided to build a basement, when they lifted the building, a body was found. This was a huge surprise to everyone because it was a legend, but it turned out to be completely real. Out of respect, my church took the bones and placed them back into a box and kept them under the church. Growing up my church always gave me a creepy feeling, and I feel as if there are spirits who are around there. I would love to have an EVP there, but I know my church does not believe in that. I am no longer involved with religion but my church has always had a paranormal feel to it and I would love to go and investigate it.
