Modern Day Salem Witch Trials : A Difference

The Crucible, the play you probably know about the Salem Witch Trials, hinges on John Proctor's famous monologue where he chooses his HONOR over his own life.  He decides to go to death instead of live a liar.

Fast Forward to today.  In a very similar situation, the Memphis Three, when faced with the same choice, chose to lie instead of continue to suffer in prison.
