  1. I just wanted to share that I have been to Salem, Massachusetts and went to the witch museum there. We paid an extra fee to sit in on a spell with a wiccan witch at the end of the museum tour. It was just the four of us in my party that paid for this extra part of the tour. The room was dark and we sat on a very narrow wood bench. There was a caldron in the middle of the room with pictures painted on the four walls around us. She gave us a brief synopsis of who she was and about Wiccan Witchcraft. She then gave us a piece of twine and told us that she was going to cast a spell and that we would tie three knots in the twine when she instructed us to do so. One at the right end, one in the middle, and one at the left end. She explained to us not to wish for anything bad to happen to anyone or for money. She explained that if we wished for "bad" things it would come back on us three, times three times three times. We also had to "visualize" and see and feel and believe what we were wishing for. She said the spell (she had a real sword that sparked on the floor when she dragged it around the caldron) we tied the knots. She told us to carry the twine close to us (like in a pocket or pocketbook) and not to tell anyone what we wished for. My wish did come true and I never told anyone what it was. I was a little frightened during the spell ceremony, but it did spark my interest in wiccan witchcraft.
