..I received an unsolicited email from a person claiming to be a psychic, and the subject line read:
Christine, i fear for you
I just deleted it, thought it was pretty weak. Using a person's insecurities against them to take their cash seemed skeevy to me. Am I right? Or am I missing something?
I totally agree. I have always been told that people who have true "psychic powers" are not supposed to ask for gifts in return. It is the same concept as that advertisement on t.v. for the psychic hotline - using people's insecurities to make a buck - soooo wrong and it mocks on the true abilities of people who have psychic abilities.
ReplyDeleteI never trust emails unless they are from companies or people that I know and trust. I once got one that said that my payments were due for Financial Aid, but I had already paid and I don't use that type of aid so I just deleted the email. It wasn't even in my school email account; it was in another account, which made me trust it even less
